St. Ambrose Catholic Church Crest Hill, IL This 50 year old structure required a complete renovation including new lighting, ambient, accent and architectural, a revised floor plan in the sanctuary to eliminate a multi-level condition, new porcelain tile flooring, unique oval based liturgical furniture and complete painting and decoration. The ceiling was lightened to produce more reflected light from the new pendant fixtures. The new seating is radial in construction rather than straight line, creating a more communitarian arrangement and a smoother, more graceful appearance. The Rev. Tom Paul, Diocese of Joliet, was the consultant to the studio and to the owner on this interesting project.
